EMAMI Realty FY26 Net Loss Widens to ₹189.47 Crore; Revenue Rises

FY26 Full-Year Loss Announcement

Emami Realty reported a consolidated net loss of ₹189.47 crore for FY26, widening from ₹126.24 crore in FY25, while revenue rose to ₹93.16 crore. The Board approved the audited results on May 27, 2026.

Revenue Growth Amid Widening Losses

Revenue from operations for the year stood at ₹93.16 crore, compared to ₹82.31 crore in FY25—a 13.2% increase. However, the company's cost structure and financial obligations continued to outpace this revenue growth, resulting in the significant loss expansion year-on-year.

Quarterly Performance Trajectory

The full-year loss reflects a challenging operating environment across the four quarters. For Q4 FY26 specifically, the company reported a consolidated net loss of ₹65.85 crore, marking a 76.64% deterioration quarter-on-quarter despite a dramatic 1,394.68% surge in net sales to ₹73.09 crores. This sharp revenue recognition in the final quarter—likely from project completion milestones—underscored persistent operational inefficiencies in converting sales to profitability.

Throughout the year, the company's cost structure and interest burden spiralled out of control, producing deeply negative operating margins of -75.96% and a net profit margin of -90.15% in Q4.

Developer Portfolio and Geographic Footprint

Emami Realty was incorporated in 2006 as a private limited company, to undertake real estate projects in residential, commercial and retail sectors. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Emami Infrastructure Limited, one of the flagship companies of the Rs 3,050 Cr diversified Emami Group.

Emami Realty Limited has a pan India presence with over 3.7 crore Sq. Ft development at different stages of planning, construction and delivery across West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Maharashtra and Sri Lanka. The Group has the distinction of delivering some of the landmark projects including South City project (commercial cum residential), Urbana (residential), Orbit Heights (residential) and Emami City (residential) in Kolkata, Emami Tejomaya (residential in Chennai), Emami Aerocity (residential) in Coimbatore, Emami Nature (residential) in Jhansi.

Board Actions

The Board of Directors appointed Mr. Ram Krishna Agarwal as an Additional Director during its meeting to approve the results.

Promoter Share Transfer

Concurrent with the FY26 results announcement, Emami Realty Limited announced an inter-se transfer of 8,88,583 shares among promoter group entities on June 9, 2026, representing 1.7077% of the total share capital. The transfer, exempt from open offer regulations, will not change the total promoter holding of 73.42%.
