The outcome deepens concerns about the developer's financial stability even as revenue recognition accelerated through the quarter.

Revenue Growth Masks Operational Challenges

The company recorded net sales of ₹73.09 crores in Q4 FY26, the highest quarterly figure in its recent history, marking a positive shift from previous quarters where sales growth was subdued. However, this revenue expansion failed to translate into profitability.

The quarter's results underscore a troubling paradox: whilst revenue recognition accelerated substantially—likely from project completion milestones—the company's cost structure and interest burden have spiralled out of control, producing deeply negative operating margins of -75.96% and a catastrophic net profit margin of -90.15%.

Mounting Year-Long Losses

This represents the third consecutive quarterly loss for EMAMI Realty, with cumulative losses for FY26 now exceeding ₹189 crores. The company's core operations continue to face headwinds, with profit before tax (PBT) excluding other income falling to a loss of ₹80.72 crores.

The company's negative book value of -₹44.73 per share reflects accumulated losses that have completely wiped out shareholder equity, raising serious questions about long-term viability.

Market Response and Shareholder Concerns

The company's shares, trading at ₹88.02 with a market capitalisation of ₹449.00 crores, remain under severe pressure as operational inefficiencies continue to erode shareholder value.
